Privacy policy
This site collects as little personal data as possible: only what you send when you write or book a call. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no newsletter.
Data controller
Rodolphe Ponroy, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as Ouralit, 11, rue Auguste Perret, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Contact: hello@ouralit.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact form
- Name, work email, company (optional), subject and message. Used to answer your request and discuss a possible project. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Call booking
- When you click “Book a 30-min call”, a scheduling widget provided by Cal.com is loaded. If you book, Cal.com processes your name, email, the chosen time slot and any note you add, and creates the video meeting link. Same purposes and legal basis as above. Cal.com is not loaded unless you open it.
- Technical logs
- Our host processes technical data (IP address, browser, requested page, date and time) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Who receives your data
Your data is only used by us. It is never sold or used for advertising. It is processed on our behalf by:
- Netlify, Inc. (United States): hosting and storage of contact form submissions.
- Cal.com, Inc. (United States): call scheduling and video meetings, only if you book a call.
- Proton AG (Switzerland) and Google LLC (United States): email services used to receive and answer your messages.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are located in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified (Netlify and Google are), or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
How long we keep it
- Messages and booking details: 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
- If we work together: the data needed for the contract and invoicing is kept for the legal retention periods (10 years for accounting records).
- Technical logs: according to our host's short retention policy.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools, so there is no consent banner. The Cal.com widget, loaded only when you choose to book a call, may use technical storage strictly needed to work; see Cal.com's privacy policy.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise these rights, email hello@ouralit.com. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to your messages is limited to the publisher, through accounts protected by strong authentication.
